Cognitive Behavioural Coaching​ (CBC)

Cognitive behavioural coaching (CBC) is a branch of life coaching based on the foundations of cognitive behavioural therapy. CBC is a really effective way for people to identify unhelpful ways of thinking or behaving that are preventing them from achieving goals and fulfilling their potential.

Examples of areas that can be addressed during sessions are:

  • Identifying unhelpful and self-defeating ways of thinking and behaving

  • Challenging and overcoming unhelpful thoughts

  • Identifying work and life goals

  • Developing achievable plans to reach goals and targets

  • Working on low self esteem and assertiveness

  • Improving communication skills

  • Developing problem solving skills

  • Stress reduction and relaxation

  • Improving mood and reducing

  • Anxiety

  • Achieving a good work/life balance

  • Working on relationship issues at home or work

  • Performance coaching

  • Neurodiversity challenges

  • Dealing with life changes such as redundancy, retirement or divorce

  • Managing workloads

  • Dealing with conflict

  • Talking through current concerns or worries

  • Providing general support and encouragement

As a fully accredited cognitive behavioural therapist with additional training in EMDR and coaching, I have the skills and experience to help you reach your goals and live the life that you want to live.

Sessions are usually 30 – 50 minutes long and can be done online or on the phone. If you are interested in giving coaching a try, then please get in touch to arrange your first session.

I currently mainly work online but I do offer a limited number of face to face sessions in Perth & Kinross.
