Clinical Supervision for Therapists
Supervision is such an important part of developing and growing as a therapist, no matter how experienced you are. It enables you to reflect on your practice in a warm, supportive, non-judgmental environment and ensures that therapy is practiced safely, effectively and ethically.
As a fully accredited CBT therapist since 2015 I have been providing supervision for a number of years both privately and within an NHS mental health service setting. In 2021 I completed a University Certificate in Professional Development (UCPD) in CBT Clinical Supervision and in 2022 I began providing group supervision to trainee CBT therapists at the University of Teeside.
I firmly believe that supervision sessions should not only be a safe, empathetic place to discuss your practice but also to provide wider support as required. I like my supervision sessions to not only be clinically helpful but also relaxed and enjoyable too. Being a therapist can be incredibly rewarding but it can also be really tough at times too, so having a supportive supervisor is all the more important.
I'm able to provide both individual and group supervision to both trainee and experienced therapists. I charge a reduced rate of £75 per session for individual therapists and £90 per hour for groups (maximum 3 therapists).
